C&D Flooded Wet Cell Batteries

These batteries are the ideal choice for UPS, emergency lighting, switchgear and other standby applications which need reliable, high rate power. Since these batteries are low- gassing they require no special ventilation. Additionally, a compact design makes them perfect for low maintenance and space restricted applications.

XT Series

A common complaint of antimony batteries is the high maintenance cost associated with frequent watering intervals. The XT Series is constructed of lead-calcium instead of lead-antimony which extends watering intervals without sacrificing performance. This translates into lower maintenance costs and fewer headaches. In addition, the XT features hardened terminals with copper inserts that provide superior conductivity compared to lead alloy posts. The flame-retardant thermoplastic cover meets UL 94-VO fire-retardancy requirements. Available in single, twin, triple, and four cell units Provides .246 to 7.615 kilowatts per cell (15 minute rate to 1.67 volts per cell) Ideal for 50 to 2000 KVA UPS

XT Plus

The XT Plus cell combines the features of the XT Series, plus wrapped positive plates for longer cycle life. In heavy cycling applications, positive plate shedding and active material wash-out is the most common failure mode of batteries. C&D has countered this problem by designing the XT Plus, a high-cycling battery with a fiberglass positive wrap, inhibiting shedding and active material wash-out. Available in single, twin, and four cell units Provides .810 to 7.234 kilowatts per cell (15 minute rate to 1.67 volts per cell) Ideal for 100 to 2000 K-VA UPS

XT Antimony

For customers who need a deep cycling battery, C&D offers the XT in a lead-antimony alloys The XT Antimony battery provides lower float voltage requirements over its lead-calcium counterpart. Available in single, twin, and four cell units Provides .81 0 to 7.234 kilowatts per cell
