We recently performed a turn key upgrade to the diesel generators at the old Piller building in Middletown, NY. for the owner of the building. During inspection of the system it was discovered that one of the first things that need to be upgraded was the (3) mufflers for the (2) engines , which where totally rusted out and the internal baffles where gone. PSS removed the old mufflers and installed new mufflers that had the exhaust exit the top of the mufflers. By moving the exhaust exit to on top of the mufflers, this was a better design for the building because of the air intakes that are located on the roof.
